Computer Requirements

To run imp and the Media Tasters within it, you'll need to have a broadband internet connection. In addition, the following platforms are supported:

PCs running Windows XP
Minimum of 512 MB Ram

Macintosh G3, G4, G5
Minimum of 512 MB Ram
OSX 10.3 or higher

Certain software, we know can causes conflicts, such as over-zealous firewalls or some Virus Protection software. In addition, imp is not yet supporting development on Dual-Core Macs, or the Windows Vista operating system. Check back for updates and additional applications that are supported.

No Java error

If you see the following error message, you'll need to install or update java on your machine.

No JVM could be found on your system.
Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to
an installed JDK or JRE or download a JRE from www.java.com
